Ted Johns Coming Back To Blyth Festival For Limited Performance

The Blyth Festival’s best known playwright is coming to Blyth in September to mark the Festival’s 50th anniversary.

Ted Johns will be appearing at the Phillips Studio on Dinsley Street for a 50th Anniversary presentation called Jokes and Quotes for the 50th on September 5th, 6th and 7th. Goderich Is Asking Huron County To Cover Some Of The Cost Generated By The Court House

The Mayor of Goderich says the town is being unfairly asked to cover the costs of operating the courthouse for the entire county.

Trevor Bazinet says Goderich covers all of the costs for courthouse security and the transportation of prisoners from anywhere in the county because the courthouse is located in Goderich. Bazinet says they don't feel that's fair to the taxpayers of Goderich so they're going to be asking the county for some help. Bazinet says they do get some help from the province to cover some of their costs, but that doesn't cover the total cost, and this year they're looking at…

The Goderich Salt And Harvest Festival is back for the Labour Day Weekend in Goderich.

This is only the second year for the Festival and this year they'll be joined by the West Coast Blues. Huron Perth Public Health Observes International Overdose Awareness Day

International Overdose Awareness Day is marked on August 31st each year.

The day is an opportunity to remember loved ones who have been lost due to a drug overdose and to think of those struggling with addiction. Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) acknowledges all families, friends, first responders, and healthcare and support service workers whose lives have been affected by overdose.

HuronTel Supports Local Healthcare With $75,000 To Wingham Hospital CT Scanner Campaign

Huron Telecommunications has joined the ever-expanding group of supporters dedicated to bringing a new CT scanner to the Wingham & District Hospital.

The World Famous RCMP Musical Ride Will Be Coming To Clinton This Weekend

The RCMP's world famous Musical Ride will be performing at the Clinton Raceway this Saturday and Sunday.

The Bayfield Agricultural Society and REACH Huron have partnered to bring the show to Clinton. Performances will be at five o'clock on both Saturday and Sunday. The horses will be stabled at the REACH Centre and the stables will be open to the public when the horses aren't performing, from mid-afternoon till nine in the evening on Saturday and nine in the morning until nine in the evening on Sunday.

Ontario Helping Build More Homes in Huron-Bruce

The provincial government has announced a total of $12,331,672.80 in funding to enable the construction of new homes in Bluewater, Goderich and South Bruce.
