Huron County Newsletter
Week of January 14th to 20th, 2024
Good day,
It’s been another great week here at the Huron County News. We’ve continued to see growth in website visits, as well as Facebook follows and newsletter subscriptions. It’s very encouraging to see the interest in something we believe in so much. To see a list of ways you can help us please visit our Support page. Most of the ways to help don’t require any money.
Unfortunately, I do have to mention the Online News Act (Bill C-18) again. Because of the Online News Act, our Facebook page is always in danger of being shut down without notice. We never post links directly to our stories, or our website, on Facebook in hopes of avoiding this. But, there is no guarantee that they won’t flag the page and shut it down. If this happens, we will get another page up and running as soon as possible, but, I ask that you bookmark our website, and visit often. Even if the Facebook page goes down, the website will still be there.
One last thing, we want to hear from you. We are here to serve the community and we want you to get the most out of this. Start conversations by commenting on our Facebook posts. Or email us feedback, corrections, suggestions, or things you want to hear about.
Thanks again for your support. Have a great week!
